Who is The R.I. Pirate Guy?
The R.I. Pirate Guy LLC is Luca Rebussini of Cranston, R.I. a man with many feathers in his cap, but is a pirate at heart. He’s currently a social studies teacher in Pawtucket, R.I. with many years of experience in education after becoming a 2016 and 2017 graduate of URI with bachelor’s degrees in history and secondary education respectively and a 2018 graduate of Western Governors University with a master’s degree in ESL. While presenting his piratical persona since December of 2021, the R.I. Pirate Guy LLC was officially established in August of 2024 out of a combination of love of history, passion for teaching, and for the fun of learning about the remarkable stories of pirates.
